                Boeing Information on Coronavirus (COVID-19)

The safety of Boeing employees, their dependents and visitors to our sites is a top priority. Boeing’s Chief Medical Officer and our International Health Services team track health conditions using the guidance of the World Health Organization and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. We continue to adapt and evolve our emergency management procedures to address the impact of the coronavirus.

                Protecting Our Employees & Communities

Ensuring the health of airline passengers and crews through our Confident Travel Initiative, where we partner with airlines, global regulators, passengers and infectious disease experts to enhance aircraft cleanliness procedures and identify other areas to further reduce the risk of airborne illness transmission.

Increasing cleaning of high-touch areas and deep-cleaning of impacted sites; maintaining rigorous criteria for return to work; and asking all employees who can effectively do their jobs from home to telecommute.

Offering our Dreamlifter to transport urgently needed supplies to healthcare professionals; utilizing our 3D printing capabilities to manufacture face shields for those on the front lines; and shipping masks, gloves and other equipment to employees in impacted areas and hospitals in need.

Continuously assessing the state of the coronavirus in a particular region and, in consultation with health officials, temporarily suspending and/or resuming site operations accordingly.

Encouraging virtual meetings whenever possible and physical distancing when face-to-face meetings are critical.

Limiting international travel to business-critical activities to reduce the risk of unexpected changes in travel restrictions.
